As a Theatrical Employee, you will be showcasing your passion and skill to bring our upcoming productions to life with top-notch sound quality.

This is a fantastic opportunity where you will showcase your Technical Events experience throughout our property at The Star Gold Coast.

A few of your responsibilities:

  • Operating lighting equipment for theatre productions, concerts and special events
  • Using an EWP to assist in setting up events
  • Troubleshoot sound, lighting and visual issues that may arise

What are we looking for:

  • Knowledge and experience of working conditions of a live Theatre/Concert environment, with Rock and Roll/Theatre experience highly regarded
  • Rigging ticket and EWP licence advantageous
  • Experience within the corporate audio-visual and live events industry
  • Skills to make changes to the lighting design and programming of the show
  • Knowledge of and ability to operate and program lighting equipment in a corporate and live event or concert environment
  • Flexible work arrangements between departments including but not limited to audio and or stage.
  • Have basic maintenance experience together with an ability to fault find
  • Have the ability to work in a close team environment with strong attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Accreditation in Responsible Service of Alcohol
  • Flexible availability to suit business needs, including weekends and public holidays
  • A strong hospitality career focus and the ambition to be part of a fast paced, dynamic and growing department
