The Security Officer role reports directly to the Security Supervisor and is responsible for providing a welcoming, friendly and safe environment for all employees, visitors and patrons of The Star Sydney. This is a fantastic opportunity where you can put your skills to the test and provide a safe and trusted destination.

A few of your responsibilities:

  • Working closely with the Surveillance team to proactively identify and report illegal & undesirable behaviour
  • Comprehensive entry point vetting as well as hotel, retail, bars, and event security duties
  • Monitoring and assisting with Responsible Services of Alcohol
  • Providing outstanding guest service as part of our dedication to responsible gaming

What are we looking for:

  • NSW SLED 1AC Security Licence
  • NSW RSA and RCG Competency Cards and First Aid accreditation (or be willing to obtain)
  • Customer service experience in fast paced/licensed venues is advantageous
  • Flexibility to work 8 - 12 hour shifts across a rotating roster essential
  • Good communication skills, with a positive and professional attitude
