About the Role 
Are you passionate about education and looking to make a meaningful impact in the field of student recruitment? Join Swinburne University of Technology as a Schools Recruitment Specialist and play a vital role in achieving domestic student enrollment targets for Swinburne University of Technology programs in Australia.

As part of the Recruitment Team, you will engage with secondary schools, manage accounts, and develop and implement an annual calendar of recruitment activities aligned with Swinburne's Schools Engagement Strategy. You will represent the University at recruitment events and play a key role in raising the awareness and visibility of the Swinburne brand through top of funnel engagement activity with secondary schools.

As the Schools Recruitment Specialist, you will provide advice to prospective students and their influencers about study and pathway options available at Swinburne; and administer segment-appropriate marketing events and activities.

About You  
To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities: 
  • Demonstrated experience in managing an indirect sales channel in a services industry.
  • Strong interpersonal communication, teamwork and negotiation skills, including strong public speaking ability.
  • Superior time management skills, and ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
  • Competency with a range of software and systems, including PowerPoint, spreadsheets and CRM. Experience with the Adobe Suite (or similar) and/or Salesforce CRM is highly desirable. 
  • Knowledge of secondary and tertiary education sectors including VTAC application and selection processes and higher education reforms is preferred.

Qualifications
  • Completion of a degree in marketing/communications or equivalent with relevant work experience or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
