About the roles
We are looking for multiple Disability Support Workers to join the casual workforce across the Eastern, & South Eastern & North eastern suburbs of Melbourne.
In the South East we are looking for casuals to work in across our Group homes across suburbs such as St. Kilda, Bentleigh, Brighton, Chadstone Hampton & Mount Waverley.
In the North East we are looking for people to work casually in our Group homes across Bundoora, Mill Park and Greensborough.
In the Eastern region we are looking for people to work casually in our Group homes across Mitcham, Doncaster, Mont Albert, Blackburn & Box Hill.
Even if you do not have direct disability support experience, we want to hear from you. You will be responsible for providing support with activities of daily living and developing, implementing and monitoring Individual Plans. You will also work to facilitate the delivery of quality services and achieve positive outcomes with clients. This role involves working with a multitude of varied environments and clients, some with complex high medical needs and behaviours. We will be screening applicants regularly and inviting selected applicants to attend virtual group assessment centres & interviews.

In order to be compliant, successful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including a National Criminal History Record Check, the NDIS workers screening and an International Criminal History Record Check; if you have resided for 12 months or more outside of Australia in the last 10 years. (where relevant to the role) and a current Victorian Driver's Licence is essential.
To be considered for and appointed to a position at Life Without Barriers, you must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 with a minimum of two (2) doses or hold a valid medical exemption certificate, in accordance with Life Without Barriers Employee COVID-19 Vaccination Policy. You will be required to provide evidence of your vaccination status during the recruitment process
