About the Role 
The Digital Technology Delivery team at Swinburne University of Technology are looking for an Application Analyst to join their team. Working within the Student Application team, the Application Analyst will contribute to the goal of maintaining a high level of availability for its portfolio of application services, providing business processes and services to thousands of university staff and students. 

In this role, the successful candidate will bring with them experience with the ETL, SQL and/or Crystal Report system, and any experience with the StudentOne platform will be considered highly advantageous. Although this role focuses on one main area of digital technology delivery, the Application Analyst will be given the opportunity to work within a highly experienced team, learning from their diverse skillset. 

The Application Analyst will also need to have strong stakeholder management skills as they will need to work in partnership with stakeholders and colleagues to develop improvements to the numerous applications employed across the University.

About You  
To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities: 
  • Demonstrated experience in software incident management and problem management including investigation, resolution, and communication
  • Demonstrated ETL, SQL and/or Crystal Report experience
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • A strong customer service orientation with a focus on results and quality of service

Qualifications
  • Relevant qualifications and extensive relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training
