About The Role

Role Location: 833 Collins Street, Docklands VIC 3008

Role Type: Permanent, Full-time 40hrs/week 

ANZ’s Finance Systems, Data and Innovation (FSDI) team manages the operational running and changes to systems for ANZ’s Core Finance

(financial management, external and management reporting) and Procurement. The team support system users across Enterprise Finance and the broader ANZ through partnering and collaborating with other areas of ANZ, such as Risk, Enterprise Data, and Technology, to leverage solutions more broadly and influence enterprise strategic technology solutions.

As a Journey Expert for FSDI team Regulatory Reporting, you will be responsible for optimising existing end-to-end FSDI customer journeys, and improving the customer experience, by understanding customer/user requirements and devising new, innovative solutions, services, products or propositions. Your role will require you to work in your Squad to shape and evaluate the viability and feasibility of regulatory reporting solutions primarily targeting credit risk reporting and focusing on defining data definitions, data sourcing requirements and reporting business rules.

You will also work to understand the business process and to continuously improve, simplify and deliver a better experience across a specific FSDI area of capability i.e. Core Systems (including OSX), Data, BI, Automation, Procurement Systems, Data Governance, APEA Projects and SKY P3/TLC) 

About You

• Regulatory Reporting experience preferred
• Proven analytical, influencing and problem solving skills combined with the ability to identify risks and impacts as well as possible solutions and corrective actions
• Strong planning and co-ordination skills. Ability to prioritise and work under pressure
• Previous experience with ANZ banking systems, data analytics and digital technologies is a big advantage
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, supported with a data-driven mindset
• Sound knowledge of project management principles and demonstrated experience with agile and waterfall techniques
• Highly motivated, results driven, team and customer-focused
• Agile Delivery background is a plus, with strong proficiency in using tools to manage projects effectively such as Excel, Jira, Confluence, SharePoint or something else!
