About The Role

Role Location: 833 Collins Street, Docklands VIC 3008

Role Type: Fixed Term, Full-Time

This role is a key member of the Strategic Initiatives & Change team, which supports the GM, Wholesale Risk Australia.

Specifically, the role will be responsible for Commercial Banking business readiness activities related to regulatory changes, understanding any gaps in credit processes, overseeing requirements and implementation, liaising with delivery teams supporting the mid-market lending simplification project (policy, modelling, risk systems, business product owners), as well as change management activities for future state APS 112/113 processes and supporting the operational risk assessments and communicate/inform key stakeholders of changes.

To be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

• Influencing and Relationship Building: high level of influencing and negotiating skills by demonstrating a sophisticated repertoire of influencing techniques with the ability to adjust style to different contexts and audiences.
• Market / Industry Knowledge: Future focused and actively understands industry, customer and risk management trends to set-up and execute strategy to meet stakeholder needs and expectations now and in the future
• Customer focus: defines and measure success through the eyes of the customer, banker and risk manager, anticipates, understands and responds to evolving customer needs
• Embedding Change: Design change management strategies that integrate the needs of our Bankers, Risk Managers and Customers and maximise business value.
• Technical & behavioural skills: strong analytical, modelling, commercial/business, Wholesale/Retail, project design/delivery, adaptability, resilience and motivation capabilities.
