About The Role
Role Location: Melbourne VIC
Role Type: 12 month secondment, Full-time
Ensuring that the Global Markets business (and other business units as required e.g. Client Onboarding) is prepared for and complies with the various global regulatory reforms, such as Dodd-Frank rules, EMIR, MAS, ASIC etc., associated with G20 commitments regarding the reporting obligations for OTC derivatives and associated market conduct rules.
This is a 12-month secondment role. The business is seeking a Senior Analyst, Markets Regulatory Data Management to support the Regulatory Reporting Refit program. The position will include supporting the manager and assisting a team of analysts to ensure client data quality for the purpose of OTC regulatory obligations by reviewing existing data and remediating client profiles across the end-to-end system landscapes with GoldTier as the source.
In addition, the role will include analysis and investigation of tasks across the client onboarding function, legal documentation, reconciling data between multiple sources, identify and link matching counterparties. This function is key to enabling ANZ to move onto a more strategic regulatory reporting landscape to be compliant with various local and foreign regulatory directives.
