Your role as an SBB Agribusiness Manager will be to manage and grow portfolio of existing customers through retention, growth, cross-sell and referrals. By developing an extensive relationship with your clients & networks, you will assist us in achieving overall business strategies of retention & growth.

Maintaining a detailed understanding of customers’ business and financial needs, along with keeping abreast of economic trends will be core to your success. You will collaborate with product partners and other stakeholders to ensure an effective and value adding strategy is identified for the client whilst minimising all potential risks to ANZ. 

About You

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

• Preferred farming background, agriculture studies or a passion to develop as a specialist Agri banker.
• Show curiosity & initiative to learn about Agribusiness industries, economic, environmental impacts and local geographical trends

• Build effective relationships & demonstrating genuine care for supporting agribusiness customers in Regional Australia.
• Strong desire to embrace and manage through change
• Demonstrate adaptability and resilience
• Understanding financial statements & credit assessment process
• Ability to work autonomously as well as within a team, with proven analytical, negotiation & problem solving skills
• Well-developed verbal & written communication skills
• Desire to learning new things proactively & quickly
