About the role

This is a challenging but rewarding opportunity for you to make a positive change in the lives of People with a Disability.

We are looking for two male Support Workers to take on regular shifts with a male client based in Thornlie.  We are looking for staff who can work under pressure and have experience dealing with challenging behaviours.

There are Friday, Saturday and Sunday day shifts every other week (around 12-15 hours) but additional hours can be taken with other clients.

Working in a team, you will facilitate the delivery of quality services and achieve positive outcomes with service users in a positive and proactive environment. You will be actively supporting their individual needs and creating a safe environment.

Responsibilities Key

  • Day to day care and supervision
  • Community Access & Transport
  • Maintain & Monitor Person Centred Plans
  • Documenting & Progress Note keeping

Skills & Experience

  • Unrestricted Australian Drivers Licence
  • Experience working with people with disabilities
  • Certificate III Community Welfare, Disability or similar
  • Current Provide First Aid Certificate & CPR certificate
  • NDIS Screening check & Orientation certificate

Successful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including National Criminal History Record Check.
