PMO Manager, Data Assets

About The Role
Role Location: Melbourne, VIC but is open to other regions in AU
Role Type: Permanent, Full time opportunity

As a PMO Manager, you will apply your experience in project delivery to enable delivery of the Data & Digital / Data Services PMO by: Managing the project delivery methodology, framework and related tools (such as PPM) and templates for all projects in the Data Services portfolio, including creating and embedding a robust Knowledge Management framework (managing health checks, stage gate submissions, etc); Assisting projects during the planning stage (mobilisation) to determine the best governance framework for that particular project; Providing early identification of risks/issues effecting successful project delivery and monitoring remediation activities; Establishing and managing Scheduling and Dependency Management competencies across the Data & Digital portfolio; Support the Program Director to track project spend to Slate/Forecasts and manage benefits identification and tracking; Providing audit, regulatory response and audit remediation support/guidance for projects, as required; and Providing advice and support to projects in Data & Digital / Data Services on meeting In-Country compliance and BAU transition requirements. 

About You
To be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

• Extensive experience in project delivery (PMO/Project Management) gained across a variety of project types, with demonstrated team management and leadership experience.
• Working knowledge and experience of various project methodologies i.e. Agile, PMBOK, Prince 2.
• Must have significant Senior Stakeholder negotiation and relationship building skills to elicit close working relationships with Senior Project Managers and Program Directors to ensure positive and collaborative project delivery outcomes.
• Solid theoretical understanding of project management demonstrated by a suitable certification. ( e.g. ) PMP or considerable experience within the workforce.
• Demonstrated excellent Leadership, Motivation, Coaching and Mentoring Skills (essential), plus ability to balance program/project and staff needs.
• Preferably from a relevant background; knowledge of PMO management, project finance processes, risk and project management standards, In-Country compliance and BAU Transition requirements, ideally within ANZ.
