About the Role:

This role is responsible for designing, describing, and managing technology solutions in relation to specific Uniting business problems around the security and infrastructure space. The objective of this role will be to provide subject matter expertise to protect Uniting’s cyber assets, data, intellectual property and its operations. Role will lead the methodologies, drive better practices and develop capability required to design, introduce, champion and develop solution artefacts required for technology solutions across the enterprise. As an expert communicator, you will work with stakeholders to synthesise concepts, requirements and technology into documented solutions.

 Key Responsibilities and accountabilities

• Drive necessary technical design initiatives for the development of infrastructure technologies and system requirements
• Design the technical solution - describing the structure, characteristics, behaviour, and other aspects of the technical solution (e.g. network, software, hardware, processes) to stakeholders.
• Support and enhancement of Uniting's Cyber Security Framework, involvement in solutions architecture and leading activities to achieve and maintain desired level of cyber security maturity.
• Identify current and emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and exploits impacting Uniting’s assets and propose appropriate strategies to mitigate them
• Matching solutions with the organisational environment and meeting the requirements of all stakeholders while accounting for project constraints
• Find the best technology stack/solution among all possible to solve the existing business problems
• Compliance with non-functional requirements
• Partner with key roles to create solutions that are aligned to the architecture standards and principles, leverage common solutions and services, and meet the financial targets
• Support - development efforts and project governance processes
• Consult - during the detailed design, build, test and deploy phases, and reengaged to perform benefits realization.

• Demonstrate your experience in an industry on a digital pathway with a huge focus on interoperability with external systems.
• Show your ability in problem definition, solution options & collaborate with stakeholders in designing solutions
