Engineer – Chapter Lead - Fraud, Financial Crime & Reg Tech

Our purpose? To deliver leading Fraud, Financial Crime, Reg Tech and Collections enterprise services, which support our customers in Australia and Institutional Divisions that which enable ANZ to meet its customer, risk, regulatory and compliance obligations.
As Engineer- Chapter Lead you will be responsible for building world class capability for the Chapter area, developing squad members in the Chapter, improving the way we work at ANZ and, as a Squad member, contributing to the accomplishment of the SquadÂ’s mission by design, build, unit-test and support Financial Crime implementations used within our Tribe. You will partner closely with a AML and Falcon platform squad to understand the requirements and to ensure the delivery of work meets customer expectations.

What you will bring to Financial Crime Reg Tech team as Engineer Chapter Lead?
Â
- Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Good Understanding of Financial Crime Business Domain
- Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Experience in working on Financial Crime Platforms like Net-Reveal, Falcon, Hunter, etc.
- Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Engineering Experience in building and supporting applications in Java, JavaScript,Node.JS
- Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Engineering Experience in Docker or containerization technology stack added advantage.
- Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Good understanding or experience of windows/UNIX scripting skills & DB skills like SQL, Oracle.
- Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Ability to triage and diagnose defects/issues across the whole infrastructure (Mainframe, Windows, UNIX, storage etc.)
- Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Knowledge of DevOps will be an added advantage
- Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Knowledge and Expertise about Continuous Monitoring Tech Stack like New Relic, Splunk, DynaTrace desirable
- Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Working knowledge of Agile tools (JIRA, Confluence etc.) are nice to have.
- Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Have a thirst and willingness to expand knowledge with new technologies bringing benefits into the Tech Area
- Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Mixture of functional and technical skills where requirements can be driven/reviewed with stakeholders
- Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Excellent communication skills strong problem resolving capability and ability to handle complex trade-off decisions.
- Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Experience with working operations and architecture squads for building scalable & supportable application.
- Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Pays attention to the detail and demonstrates problem solving capability to develop and deliver quality applications that delight customers

- Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Experience is Groovy Scripting and Knowledge of Dev Ops Automation tools, such as Bamboo, Udeploy, Artifactory, Jenkins etc.
- Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Knowledge of WAS 8.5.5.x onwards.
- Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Knowledge of NoSQL Databases like Couchbase
- Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Containerization, Dockers or Google Kubernetes Platform
