About The Role
Role Location: 833 Collins Street, Docklands VIC or 242 Pitt Street, Sydney NSW 2000
Role Type: 6 Month Fixed Term
As the Trade Surveillance Business Analyst, you will be part of the Market Surveillance Transformation Project Team. Your role will assist the Surveillance function in designing, developing, testing & deploying controls using AI fraud/misconduct detection methods (with machine learning, anomaly detection etc). The analyst is responsible for ensuring the controls are fit-for-purpose and to provide the technology development team with business requirements upon reaching a production end state.
Change management activities will predominantly focus on expanding the coverage and effectiveness of our existing surveillance capabilities. This includes: executed transactions, communications and trading surveillance. These are significant technology deliverables, but they also require conscientious gearing with people and business process change to ensure deliverables are embedded into the surveillance BAU process.
This role will also require you to coordinate with internal & external stakeholders / vendors, Project Business Analysts and a team of Data Scientists. You will also provide solutions on trade scenario improvements and process enhancements, package and present management information for periodic review.
