Change Manager/Senior Change Analyst (Journey Expert)

ANZ’s purpose is to shape a world where people and communities thrive and to achieve this we need great customer and banker focused people to join our Australia Retail and Commercial team.

As a Change Manager/Senior Change Analyst (Journey Expert) you will be primarily responsible for leading, coordinating and executing change management activities, required to deliver major changes to the unsecured lending application and assessment process.

This includes enabling and assessing the readiness of the organisation, managing, preparing & partnering with stakeholders and providing support across business areas impacted by the change.   Typical outputs will include business impact assessments, change management plans, communication, training materials and training facilitation (in some cases).

This role is best suited to an individual with a project delivery background, where you will be comfortable working on a technically complex program of work, whilst maintaining a regulatory, customer and banker lens.

The role requires strong engagement and collaboration with internal stakeholders and external partners across the organisation.

Role Location: 833 Collins Street, Docklands VIC 3008

Role Type: 12 Month Fixed-Term

Who are you?

  • Comfortable being uncomfortable – You are comfortable with uncertainty and have the ability to effectively manage yourself through ambiguity and change;
  • A team player – You know we only win if we all win. You recognise and value the different perspectives and skills your colleagues bring. It is not about being a hero but jumping in and contributing to the successful delivery of the team’s mission;
  • The customer’s biggest fan – You demonstrate a thirst for better understanding the customer and define the problem and develop solutions through their eyes;
  • Continuous improvement junkie – You constructively challenge the status quo, look for better ways to do things and passionately advocate continuous improvement;
  • Committed to your own and other’s growth – You strive to stretch and grow yourself and others by identifying your own development areas, seeking feedback and providing feedback to others to help them learn and grow every day;
  • A problem solver – You are energised by tackling complex problems and use critical thinking, your network, skills, knowledge, and available data to drive better outcomes for our customers and the bank;
  • Risk savvy – You build sustainable solutions that protect customers, stakeholders and the community.

What you’ll bring to the role:

  • 3+ years of both change management (or equivalent) and project delivery experience
  • Working knowledge and practical application of change management methodologies, tools and activities
  • Understanding of project and change management lifecycles, disciplines and procedures
  • Strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence outcomes at all levels
  • Experience in facilitating stakeholder workshops
  • Experience working in an agile environment, including the use of Atlassian tools such as Jira and Confluence will be looked upon favourably
  • Passionate about growth and a desire to contribute beyond your current skillsets
