About Local Area Coordination Partners in the Community (PITC) Program
The NDIS Partners in the Community Program for Local Area Coordination (LAC) Services works in partnership with the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) to assist people with disability, their families and carers to achieve tangible outcomes, exercise choice and control and engage with the National Disability Insurance Schemes (NDIS).
Uniting LAC support people aged 7-65 who have NDIS plans and are eligible for the Scheme, as well as connect people, who are not eligible for the Scheme, to services and supports in their local community.
Responsibilities
As a member of the Information Linkages and Capacity Building (ILC) team, you will play a key role in LAC Services. The ILC team supports people with disability, their families and carers outside the NDIS by implementing the Information, Linkages and Capacity Building Policy Framework and working with communities and mainstream services to build awareness and become more inclusive of the range of needs and aspirations of people with disability.
Your role as Administration Support Officer is to provide the Information Linkages and Capacity Building (ILC) Senior Project Officer with administrative and operational support that will enable the successful delivery of activities that support ILC outcomes. You will promote a culture of operational excellence and drive quality outcomes consistently across the program.
Are you the person we are looking for?
As the successful candidate, you will have experience providing excellent administrative services supported by your strong attention to detail, initiative and prioritisation skills. You will be highly organised with a proven ability to establish and build partnerships with internal and external stakeholders. Your understanding of the complex needs of people with disability and their families along with Certificate/Diploma in Business Administration will be looked upon favourably.
