Project Assurance Management Expert - Internal Dispute Resolution (IDR) Uplift Program
Description
- Enable the program to deliver its uplift objectives whilst ensuring it works within ANZs 1st line operational risk and assurance framework
- Collaborate with the program, the Customer Resolution portfolio and Risk & Assurance community to find ways to improve our complaints management practices
- Ensure the program activities meet intended outcomes through conducting thorough operating effectiveness reviews
As the Project Assurance Expert you will be responsible for teaming to provide 1st line operational risk and assurance expertise for the uplift program in Customer Resolution and be required to:
- Enable the program to be bold and achieve its priorities whilst working within appetite and well considered risk awareness
- Develop testing scripts for assessing operating effectiveness
- Undertaking operating effectiveness tests in accordance with a schedule and engaging with key stakeholders and other risk experts to expedite
- Support the project with documentation of risk assessments, controls & treatments design and implementation and evidence of testing
- Support the project priorities and partner with the stream leads with guidance, assurance over quality and adequacy of solutions and make recommendations in relation to how risks are identified, assessed and treated across the program
- Proactively identifying and responding to internal/external changes and establishing strong testing and monitoring practices
- Drive improvement in risk culture and awareness and promote operational risk management as a core tenet across all work streams
In this role you will work closely with the governance and assurance function within the portfolio and across the assurance community, as well as Line 2 Risk, to support the delivery of project outcomes
What you bring as a Project Assurance Expert?
- Hands-on experience in project risk management with strong understanding of impacts on operational risks and controls brought about from change
- Experience undertaking risk reviews, solution and control design, testing, closure documentation and monitoring
- Experience in the Financial Services industry across Retail or Commercial operations, products or distribution and preferably with regulator requirements
- Ability to collaborate with project and business to develop and embed effective operational risk management solutions
- Willingness to look at things differently, challenge the status quo and innovate
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills and ability to build relationships
